Fluorescence measurements can follow changes in an industrial sugar process over time. This release contains 268 eight-hour shift-average samples collected during a three-month autumn 1995 campaign at the final centrifuge operation of a Scandinavian sugar plant. data.mat provides X (268 x 3997), with DimX [268, 571, 7] mapping the unfolded fluorescence matrix to sample x emission x excitation. EmAx covers 275-560 nm in 0.5 nm steps; ExAx contains seven excitation wavelengths. The file also includes y quality variables for colour and ash, Lab laboratory measurements, Proc process measurements, time codes, and dimension vectors. Missing Lab and Proc values are retained as NaN.
