Hyperspectral Raman Image of an emulsion
Imaging and Spectral Imaging
This dataset provides the hyperspectral Raman image of Emulsion B from the seminal work of Andrew et al. (1998).
Because the dataset captures both spatial and spectral information, it has become a standard reference example in the chemometric and hyperspectral imaging communities. It is frequently used in methodological research, teaching, and software demonstrations to test and illustrate multivariate image analysis approaches, including dimensionality-reduction techniques, source-separation algorithms, clustering, and spectral unmixing workflows. Its continued use in recent methodological work highlights its role as a benchmark real-world Raman imaging dataset
