EEMscat removes Rayleigh and Raman scattering artifacts from Excitation-Emission Matrix fluorescence datasets and interpolates the excised areas so no missing values are introduced. Users specify removal widths for first-order Rayleigh, Raman, and second-order Rayleigh scatter bands. Designed as a preprocessing step before PARAFAC modeling of fluorescence data.
