Blind instrument response function identification (smoothing penalty)
OtherMATLAB
This algorithm transforms decay data into a well-posed least-squares problem using a Hankel matrix. Smoothing penality mitigates noise and stabilizes the inversion, enabling robust extraction of the IRF directly from the data. No external measurement is needed, as the IRF is obtained solely from the collected signal.
